Move your data in three steps
- Download your transactions from Monarch. On the Monarch website, download your transactions as a CSV file.
- Import the file into TallyMint. Go to Settings, then Import / Export, and choose the file. TallyMint reads the header row and recognizes common column names such as merchant and amount. Each CSV file imports into one account; if a file lists several accounts, TallyMint tells you and puts every row in the one you choose, so split it by account first.
- Check the preview, then compare balances. Look over the dates, amounts, and whether money in and money out landed the right way before you confirm. Afterward, compare each account's balance with Monarch's.
Budgets in TallyMint are monthly targets per category, with a register and cash flow projections. It is not an envelope system.
