These terms govern your use of TallyMint, a desktop personal finance application published by ks-bytebox. By downloading, installing, or using TallyMint, you agree to these terms.
When you purchase a TallyMint license, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use TallyMint on one device at a time. Each license key supports up to three device activations to accommodate hardware changes (e.g., replacing a computer). Simultaneous use on multiple devices with a single license is not permitted.
TallyMint offers a 30-day free trial with full functionality. No credit card is required. When the trial period ends, TallyMint switches to read-only mode: you can view and export all your data, but editing features are disabled. You may purchase a license at any time to restore full access. Your data is never deleted at the end of the trial.
TallyMint is sold as a one-time purchase through our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy. All prices are listed in US dollars. We reserve the right to change pricing for future purchases, but your license is permanent once purchased.
Bug fixes and patches are included with your purchase. We may release major version upgrades in the future that could be offered as a separate purchase, but your existing version will continue to work indefinitely.
All financial data you enter into TallyMint is stored locally on your computer. You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your data file. ks-bytebox does not have access to your data and cannot recover it if it is lost, corrupted, or deleted.
We strongly recommend keeping regular backups of your TallyMint data file in a separate location (such as an external drive or cloud storage folder).

TallyMint integrates with optional third-party services, including SimpleFIN Bridge for bank sync and Lemon Squeezy for payments. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. ks-bytebox is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services.
TallyMint is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that TallyMint will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.
TallyMint is a personal finance management tool, not a financial advisor. Nothing in the application constitutes financial, tax, or legal advice. You are responsible for your own financial decisions.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ks-bytebox shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or financial losses arising from your use of or inability to use TallyMint.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of TallyMint shall not exceed the amount you paid for your license.
You may stop using TallyMint at any time by uninstalling it. We may terminate your license if you materially breach these terms (for example, by redistributing the software). If your license is terminated, you must stop using TallyMint, but your local data file remains yours.
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised terms on this page with a new effective date. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the application or website. Continued use of TallyMint after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of TallyMint shall be resolved in accordance with applicable federal and state law.
